Digital Clock With Home Appliances Control Using Microcontroller
Digital clock is used to control the operation of electrical devices based on a programmed schedule. This project is based on 8051 family microcontroller that can be programmed to schedule the on and off operation of an electrical appliance. The appliance is controlled through a relay switch. This timer switch allows us to set both on and off time. That means, you can program when you want to turn the device on and for how long you want it to be remained on. The project uses a 7 segment display with 4 push buttons to interact with the user.

MICROCONTROLLER: microcontroller is used to generate time which is then set according to input button to control home appliances.
INPUT BUTTON: Input button are used to set the time for appliances to control according to setting times.
APPLIANCE SWITCH: This switches are used for switching home appliance like fan, light, TV etc.
DISPLAY: Seven segment display is used to display time. It will display two digit hours and two digit minutes. Seconds will be display as blinking dot.

This clock system can be in domestic appliances like fan, light switching.
It can be used for controlling motors that can use to opening/closing of doors, windows, curtains etc.
It can be also use for schools/colleges automatic bell.
It can also be used in industrial with various timing controlling switching.
