AUTOMATIC POWER GRID CONTROLLER is automatic switching technology based on modern Equipments like high speed microcontroller, power switches like relay, etc. In AUTOMATIC POWER GRID CONTROLLER, we are using ATmega8 microcontroller from AVR family. All swiches of the grid that are located at remote area can be set to automatic switching mode using this system. This system continuously check level the voltage of input supply of the grid, and in accourdence of his level, all distributing supply is regulated. CPU is programmed in C language. Simultaneously, it regularly reads the status of power switches and indicate it on LEDs.

POWER SWITCHES: Power switches are uses to control devices that are connected to high voltage/current. It is used to control grid power switches at remote station.
MICROCONTROLLER: It takes input and after processing it gives required output.
TRANSFORMER: Here step-down transformer is used to power electronics circuits.
VOLTAGE REGULATOR LM7805 : Voltage regulator ic lm7805 is used to provide constant voltage output of +5v for system powering.

It can be used industry power supply system also.
In future, we can use GSM MODULE or RF module for wireless operation. Electromagnetic switches can be replaces by solid state semiconductor switches like thyristor, SCR, etc…
