TEMPERATURE SENSOR BLOCK: The temperature sensed by using LM 35. The output voltage of LM 35 varies in liner proportion with the temperature. The sensitivity of LM 35 is 10 mV/0C. For 1 0C output of LM35 is 10 mV. For 10 0C output of LM35 is 100 mV.

                                TECHNICAL DETAILS

CPU: Central processing unit is the brain of AUTO MODE METRO TRAIN. It processes all inputs and gives corresponding outputs.

MOTOR: Here we use two types of motor-

1. To run the wheels
2. For opening & closing door

OBSTACLE DETECTOR (IR):

It uses IR receiver and IR transmitter . If any   obstacle is  found in front of train , the intensity of IR sensor increased, abruptly and obstacle is detected.

MAGNETIC SENSOR:

It uses magnets on the track near the station , when train passes through  this track , train sense it because of reed switch and  it display information like “welcome station- A OR previous station- B”.

TECHNICAL DETAILS:

1. POWER SWITCHES: Power switches are uses to control devices that are connected to high voltage/current. It is used to control grid power switches at remote station.
2. MICROCONTROLLER: It takes input and after processing it gives required output.
3. TRANSFORMER: Here step-down transformer is used to power electronics circuits.
4. VOLTAGE REGULATOR LM7805 : Voltage regulator ic lm7805 is used to provide constant voltage output of +5v for system powering.

TECHNICAL DETAILS:

MICROCONTROLLER: microcontroller is used to generate time which is then set according to input button to control home appliances.

INPUT BUTTON: Input button are used to set the time for appliances to control according to setting times.

APPLIANCE SWITCH: This switches are used for switching home appliance like fan, light, TV etc.

DISPLAY: Seven segment display is used to display time. It will display two digit hours and two digit minutes. Seconds will be display as blinking dot.

APPLICATIONS:

1. This clock system can be in domestic appliances like fan, light switching.
2. It can be used for controlling motors that can use to opening/closing of doors, windows, curtains etc.
3. It can be also use for schools/colleges automatic bell.
4. It can also be used in industrial with various timing controlling switching.

FURTHER MODIFICATIONS:

In future, it can be modified by including following features:

1. Big display.
2. Highly accurate timer IC.
3. Various human/environment sensing sensors.
