Working of Water tank controller is very simple. It has sensors that check availabilities of water at a required level and tell microcontroller about it. Microcontroller is programmed in such a way the it controls the output switches in according to what we have programmed. When water level reaches the top of the tank it close the water pump by switching of the water motor pump. When water level goes below the set level, it automatically start water motor pump. Hence no manual look up is needed. It is fully automatic. It also timing clock that maintain timely availabilities of water supply.

Sensor block:

Sensor block has LDR, Transistor, resistor and LED. LDR senses light and gives corresponding response to its resistance. This resistance is converted into voltage drop as V=IR. Transistor amplifies this voltage and send to the microcontroller to process it.
