Only Delhiites treated in Delhi hospitals, these documents will be valid
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said in a digital press conference on Sunday that only Delhi-based patients will be treated in government and private hospitals in Delhi. Later in the evening, the Delhi government released a list of documents based on which the patient would be admitted to hospitals.
According to the order issued by the Delhi government, patients can be admitted to hospitals by considering voter ID card, bank or post office passbook, ration card, passport, driving license or income tax return. Apart from these, the hospital or the next of kin, such as water, telephone or electricity bills in the name of parents or spouse, can also be admitted to the hospital by treating them as address proof.
