Indian scientists have started drug trials on living corona virus. Scientists at the Pune-based National Institute of Virology (NIV) started testing two weeks ago. Since the effect of many drugs can be tested during this period, it may take weeks or even months to complete.
According to information received from the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) headquarters, drug trials have started on the virus in the first week of April.
Scientists from the Department of Biotechnology and ICMR have also been involved in the research study of the vaccine.
Dr. Priya Abraham, director of NIV Pune, says the virus has been isolated earlier for testing. It takes scientists at least 10 to 12 days to trial a drug. Only then the correct conclusion is revealed.

Trying after getting the first patient, success was achieved through samples from Delhi, Lucknow and Jaipur
On January 30, after receiving India's first patient in Kerala, scientists started research on the first three samples along with the investigation. However, he could not succeed in isolating the three samples. Scientists said that there was a lot of disappointment at that time, but they did not lose courage.A few days later, in the first week of March, studies started again on 12 samples from Delhi, Lucknow and Jaipur. After about two weeks, scientists succeeded in isolating it.
One and a half months to isolate
India, along with China, Australia, Korea, Germany and the US, has also been successful in isolating the corona virus. But within 15 days of isolating the virus, drug trials have been conducted in India. The virus isolated in one and a half months.According to scientists, 99.98 per cent similarity was found in two out of three samples of virus of India and China.

Indian scientists have prepared many replicas of the virus

During the study, scientists were successful in taking the corona virus alive on a sample of patients from Delhi and Agra. He then produced replicas. So that a trial can be started in a different group of two to three medicines simultaneously.
