Air pollution is considered to be helpful in the spread of corona epidemic but in many cities of the country including Delhi it has caused the death rate of corona patients to double. Talking about Delhi, there has been an increase in the death rate of three percent before and after pollution here.
Holi Family Hospital in Delhi had a mortality rate of 3.3 per cent between June and September, which has now risen to 5.05 per cent. Similarly, the death rate of corona infected has increased rapidly in Apollo, Max and Fortis hospitals. If we look at the daily data, 816 people died in Delhi till 10 days before Deepawali.
