Eminent nuclear scientist and former chairman of the Atomic Energy Commission, Dr. Shekhar Basu, died on Thursday in a private hospital in Kolkata due to corona. Dr. Basu was 68 years old, awarded with Padma Shri. PM Modi and President Kovind expressed their deepest condolences to his family on Basu's death.
