One to two lakh people will participate in the 22 km roadshow of the trump: Ahmedabad Corporation Commissioner-
Preparations are being finalized for Donald Trump's visit to Ahmedabad. Senior officials of central and state government are closely watching the functioning of the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, district administration. Around one lakh people are expected to be present on both sides of the road during the 22 km long road show to be held in Ahmedabad on February 24. The number is far less than what Trump claimed in one of his videos.On Wednesday, Trump had said in a video, "7 million people will be present in the roadshow route." Significantly, the total population of Ahmedabad is 70 to 8 million.
Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation Commissioner Vijay Nehra said on Wednesday that about one lakh people are expected to reach this roadshow. According to the road show's route plan, Trump and Modi will first come to Sabarmati Ashram from the international airport. The road show will be 22 km long, starting from Ahmedabad Airport and ending at Motera Stadium.
