The Tesla Model 3 (Tesla Model 3), the cheapest car in the EV manufacturer's line-up, is expected to be one of the first models to be introduced in the Indian market. Tesla has added a new heat pump system and has also improved the drive range across all trims of the car. Which includes a car with a range of over 568 km and a top speed of 233.3 kmph.
It has also received a new efficiency package, which has increased the overall drive drive range of each trim. This has increased the mileage of the car by 48 kilometers.
It has a new powered trunk, new double pan window. Along with taking chrome details from Model Y, many other changes have also been made.
Talking about the cabin of the car, it gets a heated steering wheel with a metallic finish. The car also gets new auto-dimming mirrors and the central console has also been updated with minimal design. Other minor minor changes to the car include a graphite trim near the seat control.
There is an option to choose 18-inch or 19-inch wheels in the car. While customers can also opt for the new 20-inch turbine wheel. It gets a low-profile tire.
All variants can accelerate to 100 kilometer in just 3.1 seconds, which is about one-tenth times faster than earlier models.
The 2021 Tesla Model 3 is offered with a larger 82 kWH battery pack. It used to get 79 kWh battery pack in earlier models. This means that the new car now gets 3.8 percent more energy.
In 2019, this electric vehicle achieved a full 5-star rating in the Euro NCAP (Euro NCAP) Safety Crash Test. And the new model is also expected to get this result. It scored 96 percent in adult occupant protection and 86 percent in child occupant protection.
The Tesla Model 3 also received 94 per cent marks for its large range of safety assist systems. Which is the highest Safety Assist score given by Euro NCAP to any new vehicle in the 2018-19 protocol.
