WhatsApp Payment (WhatsApp Pay) service has finally launched in India. WhatsApp Pay has been approved by the National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI). In such a situation, users need only one update, but those who have a link to the beta version of WhatsApp Pay, they can now use it. There are some things related to WhatsApp Pay which are very important for you.
The government went to get the approval of the WhatsApp Pay behalf but the condition is that it is currently able to use the users 2 million, while in India the number of users of WhatsApp has more than 40 million.

WhatsApp will be in 10 Indian languages. After the new update, you can scan any UPI code and pay with WhatsApp. Meaning, in the same way you are paying with Google Pay or PhonePe, in the same way you will be able to pay through WhatsApp.
WhatsApp has partnered with ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, SBI and JIo Payments Bank for payment service, although you will be able to use WhatsApp payments even if you do not have an account with these banks.
Like Google Pay and Phone Pay, WhatsApp Pay will also require a UPI PIN, so that you can make a secure payment.
