Explain that earlier, the Central Government and the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had told the Supreme Court on Tuesday that the decision to cancel the remaining exams of the second class will be taken on Thursday. It is to be known that these examinations, to be held from July 1 to 15, have been postponed due to increasing cases of Covid-19.
Earlier, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta had informed the bench headed by Justice AM Khanwilkar that the government and the board were well aware of the problems of the students and the officials would take a decision on the issue soon. Mehta requested the bench to adjourn the issue for a day and said that they would convey the decision taken by the authorities to the top court.
