Today 5864 new cases of corona were reported in Tamil Nadu and 97 people died. The total number of infected people in the state has increased to 2,39,978. CPI leader Atul Kumar Anjan has been found to be Corona positive. In the last 24 hours in the country, 52,123 new cases have been reported and 775 people have died. The total number of corona positive cases across the country has risen to 15,83,792, so far 34,968 people have died. Elections will be held on August 24 for the two vacant Rajya Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh and Kerala.
