This fort is known as 'Bala Fort', which is in Alwar, Rajasthan. Due to this it is also known as 'Alwar Fort'. If you look at Alwar, this fort is the oldest building there. It is believed that the construction work of this fort was started by Hasan Khan Mewati in 1492 AD. It is famous all over the country for its grand structural design.
This fort has been ruled from Mughals to Marathas and Jats. There are 446 holes in the walls of the fort, which were specially built to fire bullets on enemies. These holes could also be fired from a 10-foot gun. Apart from this, 15 big and 51 small bastions have been built in the fort to keep an eye on the enemies.
Its most special thing is that there has never been a war on this fort in history. Due to this it is also called 'Kunwara Fort'. This fort is five kilometers long and about 1.5 kilometers wide. A total of six doors have been built for entry inside the fort, namely Jai Pol, Suraj Pol, Laxman Pol, Chand Pol, Krishna Pol and Andheri Pol.
