ireps.gov.in Says-Failed to open WebSigner: this.pki.open is not a function
In filling e-tender in railway (ireps.gov.in) generally login or change password or Change your Password and Signing Certificate we face problem and error message is display as "ireps.gov.in Says-Failed to open WebSigner: this.pki.open is not a function". this can be resolved by using following method:
Best method is to download updated vervsion of internet explorer (vervsion 10 or above).
As my experience, Google Chrome and Firefor browser is not supported by this website i.e. ireps.gov.in.
Before proceeding to login or change password or Change your Password and Signing Certificate, firstly your should run Digital Signature Certificated (DSC) Software and login it with valid pin code.

Admin:This problem is due JavaScript function (Websigner)... This is due to mismatch of Browser and Website. Please update your browser. I recommend you to download internet Explorer 11. IREPS website is best compatible with internet Explorer Browser.

Sharad Agarwal:Hi, I see on the IREPS website that they recommend the 8u191 version of Java SE. Does the change to 8u231 have anything to do with being unable to register with the portal?
Admin:If you are changing to upgrade version then should not be problem. But you must remember that IREPS website only support 32-bits java, no matter what's your operating system bits (32bit or 64bit). Always install 32 bit java.
Admin:Go through above solution, I think you are missing something from aforesaid solution. Otherwise, give me your system congratulations so that i can find the missing mistake.
