Each year, on the 29th July, the international Tiger day is celebrated, to raise the awareness for tiger conservation. The tiger is an endangered species in the world. The tiger is the largest living cat species and a member of the genus Panthera. It is an apex predator, primarily preying on ungulates such as deer and wild boar.
