It is being said on social media that bathing with hot water and drinking hot water repeatedly can avert the risk of Kovid-19 infection. It is being said in the viral suggestion that the corona virus dies due to the effect of hot water, so whenever you come into the house from outside, do take a bath with hot water.
The central government has warned people about this viral suggestion. Through the central government's Twitter handle 'My Government India', experts pointed out that such measures are not enough to kill the corona virus. Neither corona virus is killed by drinking hot water or bathing from it nor can it cure covid-19 disease. Lab settings require a temperature of 60–75 degrees to kill the corona virus.
During the conversation with Amar Ujala, Dr. Ayeshi Pal of Delhi AIIMS says that people should drink light lukewarm water. It is considered beneficial in keeping the throat clean as well as digestion. Consuming lukewarm water can also help remove mucus in the throat.
Dr. Rajeev Ranjan of AIIMS explains that consuming too much of anything can be harmful for our health. The same is the case with decoction, it should not be consumed too much. In natural medicine, it is believed that drugs are helpful in increasing our immunity, due to this, emphasis is being given on decoction to avoid corona. More than one cup of decoction should not be consumed in a day.
