In The Testing Of Life Cycle Of Electrical Load Using Down Counter. Following headings will be discuss here:
System working
This system consists of following working parts
Power supply of this system is done using a step down transformer (12-0-12, 500mA rated). This transformer converts 220Vac to 12Vac. Then 12Vac is converted to 12Vdc by using bridge rectifier. This 12Vdc is again step down and fixed to 5V dc by using voltage regulator ic (LM7805). This 5Vdc is feed to microcontroller (ATmega8). Working of microcontroller here is that it read user instruction from user inputs and it processes it according to program that burned into it and outputs its activities to LCD display. Switches is used to start and stop electrical load according to the instructions and number of switching cycle is recorded.

Advantages
Further Improvements
In further improvements, this can be attached with voltage and current measuring sensors. This sensors will calculate the instantaneous voltage and current of the system. This will provide us more details about the system. We can draw graphical curves with life cycle vs (voltage and current).
